A poem by Teas: SHELLS AND BLOOD

Shells and Blood (cos I couldn't think of a better title)

The church bell tolls reminding me it's God's time.
Like I ordered a time piece, I'm waiting for God's time
This isn't just for punchlines or some end rhymes
It's about the people who only know sour like lemons and limes
Kids dying on a daily
The poor only know the future is a maybe
Bombs going off in Asia, Africa and the Middle east
The death of many is a reason why some people feast
So many are gone forever, no thanks to extremists
Claiming they killing for God and some other retarded shits
On the last day, I hope they're thrown down hell's deepest pits
I swear I saw an atheist in pain screaming "Oh my God"
Wow! O ma ga oo
Walls in the slums filled with bullet holes
Blood stains everywhere, red is all over the streams that flow
The poor dey suffer while the rich gambles
With The old people's pension, they leave their hopes in shambles
Where I'm from everyone is scared to raise their voices
Against the so called people harassing young girls and boys
Even our leaders deny the youths of many rights
Life is that unfair even if it's made of many Bukky Wrights
As I dey hustle and dey try
The pay wey no fit cure the pain wann dy make me cry
My people in Libya wanted a good life but in the process many don too die
In the hands of fellow brothers.
Does humanity even bother?
Or we're different cos we're separated by borders?
Many questions I try hard to answer
Slavery clearly still exists, all in chains
No gain, we just suffer while the smile covers the pain.

"ABC OF WEEDTIONARY" BY ZIGGY

ABC OF WEEDTIONARY These are words or phrases that are used only among cannabis users. Most of them you might not find in a dictionary cos they're informal, slangs, inappropriate, coined from the streets or worse, illegal. But they are words that I believe stoners should be familiar with and use more often among themselves to stay connected to the weed culture, or something like that. A Auto (n)  - A device consisting of an aquarium pump and an oxygen mask used to smoke cannabis. E.g: I just copped this dope ass auto from a store last night. It fucking hits different. Aristocrat (n) - A special type of joint typically rolled by self-absorbed college kids that is used to display their superior social status and awesome joint-rolling skills, usually extremely long about 16 inches and very narrow. Conical features should be avoided E.g: That rich kid rolled an aristocrat. joint was long and thin as fuck. B B K Double (n)  - The par...

A poem by Ziggy: "Lemme Straddle Your Mind"

lemme straddle your mind let's talk about your depth the strong emotions from your twisted mind let's talk about atoms, the meaning of life and faraway galaxies let's talk about art, magic and dreams we can talk about the music that makes you feel different I really want to know what you know beyond the realm of our society don't forget to tell me about your lies, fears and insecurities and the shit that matters let's sit on the rooftop at 2am Introduce me to your psyche lemme straddle your mind fall in love with your soul and be addicted to its flavor let your mind do things to my body things that your hands never could sapiophile im wildly attracted to your wits and your mind appeals to me

420 Simplified!

Every cultured stoner knows that 4:20 is that time of the day (am/pm) to light a joint. Likewise, we know April 20 (or 4/20) is World Weed Day, a holiday celebrating cannabis, marijuana, weed, pot, kush, whatever you like to call it. A  day cherished by cannabis  enthusiasts  around the world as a reason to toke up with friends and buddies. But, only few know why and how the number became linked to smoking cannabis. ORIGIN OF 420 There are many speculations to how the term “420” came to be and be as widely accepted. Some say that 420 was the California police or penal code for marijuana, but well, there’s no evidence to support those claims. Some also say 4/20 is Adolf Hitler’s birthday. Another theory is that there are 420 active chemicals in marijuana, hence an obvious connection between the drug and the number. But that’s not quite true either, with nearly 500 such components in marijuana. The earliest written link between marijuana and 420 can be traced to t...
